I was writing a long epitaph about the opening hours of shops and who the hell shops at midnight..... and the safety of your colleagues getting home.

How a colleague of mine was raped and murdered at 2.30am after a change over shift at the casino and the answer? after we got worried a punter was stalking??? look after yourselves.... it aint our problem after you leave the premises.

Is that the attitude of this shop?

well dot, i'll answer you here! I make my own cards and i made my best ever yet for my Mum, im dead chuffed with it! I even wrote a lovely verse all by myself!!!! lol
Its her birthday on Tuesday too!

flippin eck julie you put us all to shame grrrrr, last time i ever made my Mum a handmade card was probably 1965! I used to worry i hadn't got her a fancy enough or big enough card every year cos she was an amazing support to me but she would always tell me off for spending too much money on them!!!

Thats a horrible thing to do Dot.....especially as some of our mums have passed.....I'd give anything to have my mum here tomorrow :(.......but sadly I can only go and put flowers on her grave.

oh dot, its my hobby and i love doing them! Hers was easy really and i just know her bottom lip will start to quiver when she sees it, bless her. :-)
sorry to hear that red, we never stop missing them do we? i lost my Dad 21 years ago. Fathers day is difficult for me.

well Red, my Mums ace, she was a nursing sister with the mentally handicapped until she retired, she had a male stripper for her 60th and loved every minute of it while i stood there cringing, and even though she is now riddled with arthritis and has a crumbling spine, she still keeps going as a trained healed at a spiritualist church! and yes, shes a mucky old ******! LOL

hey Abdul , the ed emailed me to say my thread had been moved, it was their decision to review it and reinstate it, and by the look of things all the others that people zapped through sheer devilment. I am not obsessive, i might be persistent and stubborn, but i am not obsessive. No one is more surprised than i am that the editorial team feel it is pertinent to reinstate all the threads about this issue and to leave them here. If you have any complaints about it, email the ed, this thread is now non reportable and therefore will be remaining, personally i have moved on and I am unconcerned, but if you feel so strongly, do as i suggest and email the ed.

Ummmm you were only mentioned as I was describing the location of the removed post, it just so happened to do that I needed to refer to your post, i am not implying anything else by doing so.
