I am looking for a contemporary song that would be good for my son and I to dance at his upcoming wedding
(I dont know why I get to pick it out but it is my task)

I am not sure if the song needs to be for both bride and groom. any suggestionstions would be great

Does it need to be contemporary? Maybe you could choose something from around the time he was born?

Not sure what you have in mind when you dance with your Son at his wedding.
If you want it to be dedicated to your Son, then there was a record released a few years ago. It was called "My Son" and I think the artist was J.J.Barry. The lyrics are about from when he was a little boy and turning into a man.
It would bring tears to a glass eye !!! haha
I am sure it came out in the early 80's If you are interested Amazon may well have it.

i will check it out. we have a very close relationship and I would love something that expresses our friendship and bond.
thanks again..he was born born in 1980 so that was a good idea as well.. Love the 80's....but he loves the rap crap(not dance material)
I thought a contemporary song would be different than all those old traditional ones.
