i thought it was Beethoven, but im not sure.

Hello.
The name of the song is Romeo & Juliet, Op 64:13 Dance of the Knights.
I am not sure who the composer is but it has been played by many orchestras from around the world.

I think the artist on the apprentice is Mark Ermler and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House

How strange to know the opus number but not the composer (without which the opus number is pretty meaningless!). The composer was Prokofiev, so a good century later than Beethoven.

I thought it was Romeo & juliet...... so i looked it up on i-tunes, heard the 30sec sample and noted all the details.

Classical music isn't really my thing.... but i do like this piece. :)
