Lot's of people can afford drugs, you don't have to be a celebrity, and I'd say for every granny robbing heroine addict, there's 20 drug users who use them recreationally out of they're own hard earned dough. Saying that, that is slightly getting off the point. Everyone is aware of the rampant drug use in celebrity circles, especially music, but turn a blind eye. Like, didn't Tony Blair, for example, meet Noel Gallagher and have a good ol chinwag. This guy wrote all his good music when he was a poor roadie, off his head on whatever. I don't think he's ever said he regretted it. I don't think he has to do that, but it sends mixed signals.
