When I was little my grandfather used to sing this song about Jodie Blonde. I have been looking everywhere this song, but I can't find it for the life of me. I asked him who it was by, and he thought it was by Grandpa Jones (he wasn't 100% positive, though). I have heard other people reference this song, but I have yet to find anyone who knows the exact title or who it's by. Can anyone help me?

Did your granddad have a french connection as I was reading a book by James Lee Burke set in Louisianna & one charecter is always singing a french song called "La Jolie Blonde"
Probably every Cajun singer has cut a version.
Called Jole Blon the E in Jole has a dash on top.
I have it in windows library by Jimmy C.Newman.
If you want to Email: [email protected] i'll gladly email the song back. from my yahoo addy. Last time I put my Yahoo on here.I got flooded with spam..It's in WMA format, but I could do a version in MP3
Jolie Blonde
also known as Jolie Blon, Jole Blon or Joli Blon
- the traditional Cajun waltz, often referred to as
"the Cajun National Anthem"

Here is a link with a list of artists that have recorded it:
