Music to an Episode of ER a few weeks back

It's was about 3 or 4 weeks back, a new series and the episode where an old balck man had died, and it was at the end where they show clips of everything sad that has happnened....and it was a low barry white type voice that sang this song, like an old black jazz singer or something......sorry, very very vague I know but u never know! thanks if anyone can shed some light
