a few weeks back my boyfriend went on a night out with all the boys, he phoned me later that night and said he has to knock his phone off becuase his battery is going to run out but he will be home about 2, he came home at 2am and went in the shower, he said he went in the shower to freshen himself up for me? then the next day i said to him dont you want to knock your phone off if you have no battery, as obviously his charger was round his house, he said no itll be ok and we didnt get back to his till about 11.30 pm that night, and his battery seeming it was about to go dead lasted all the time, thats 24hrs! do you think somehting dodgy went on? i know hes cheated on his exes but didnt think hed do it to me...

why didnt you think he would if he's done it with exes. Some men can change but not very likely.

dun no? hes very sweet and charming, so didnt think he would with me, plus hes soo protective and says if id ever cheat wed be over, so cos his views were so strong about that didnt think he would

thats the thing though one rule for you another for a cheat usually. I dont mean to sound harsh and may all be innocent but you cant go round thinking that he wont cheat on you if he has with others but you also cant think well he must cheat on me if he has in the past. But beleive me just coz he is sweet and nice and gets jelous doesnt mean he wouldnt.

But thats men for you. One rule for another for them. I dont think you should think too much into it as the first thing i do after a night out is have a shower. And with the phone thing just ask him, why he turnt it off all night and but had it on all day and the battery seemed fine.

sounds like he definatly has , its not normal for a bloke to come back from a lads nite out drinking and have a shower at 2am !!!!!

perhaps washing the perfume smell off
also the phone thing is dodgy

I agree with 4getme. Just coz hes sweet and charming dont mean he wudnt wander. My blokes lovely and caring and always telin me he loves me. But i wudnt say hed never cheat on me... u jus dont know what can happen.

I just think you shud ask him about the phone thing... if hes givin you any other reasons to think hes cheating then do sum private investigation lol.... is this the only thing thats making you think hes cheated on you or is there another senario???

I see it two ways. a) He knocked the phone off when he was away from you because if he did need to contact you he'd be able to tun it on again and get through to you, and than wasnt bothered about whether battery died or not the next day because he was with you anyway, and as it was, battery wasn't as low as he thought it was. He came home when he said he would and was all sweaty and beery so wanted to, as he says, freshen up for you, hence the shower.
or
b) he turned phone off cos he was with another girl and got in shower to wash her off him before he saw to you. And reason he is so anti cheating is cos he's a cunning b4stard who thinks you'll buy his pack of lies.

I have a tendency to over think things though and see problems where there are none!! I really hope he hasnt cheated on you. If it's praying on your mind ask him straight out.

ive checked his fone and his messages are always empty, never any in them!!!!

messages alwasy being empty would be a worry for me-he's too careful.
but I would never check phone. you obvioulsy dont trust him. so why carry on?

Thats a baaaad sign. My ex used to do that all the time delete everything, inbox, sent everything. Found out he was cheating with his ex... she rang me asking who i was!!!

mmmmm. not even ones you've sent. So he deletes them on a regular basis. Teag1rl could be very right on her 1st option. But also you cant trust him if you are thinking it.

well a few weeks back, he looked at my phone i had nothing to hide so wasnt bothered so i thought ill have him back and i checked his phone while he was downstairs well i seen a txt to his ex, with xxx on the end, he said the only reason there was three is because of predictive txt but ive been told that Bull.... wheni confronted him i went mad and he told me it was just them being friendly, since then he deletes all his messages

Well I know ud be upset seeing xxx at the end of a text but aslong as it was nothing like flirting or asking when there going to hook up...

hmm, difficult one. I have exes and just friends I have put kisses at end of txt to and think nothing of it. But that fact he now deletes messages would def be a worry for me. And now you've got into habit of checking phone you're kind of stuck doing it. Best not to start, but that's hindsight for you!

so what is xxx supposed to be in predictive text!! oh dear he's lying about silly things, I'd be suspiscious. I'm so happy I'm not in that situation anymore.
