There was a song released in the mid nineties (I think) which was by a female duo and the video was a grand black and white affair. The tune was pretty orchestral and got fairly high in the charts. I can't for the life of me remember what the song was called or who the group was. Please can somebody tell me (I know that's not much detail though!)

Are you thinking of Stay by Shakespeare's sister?
That wasn't in black and white
Question Author
definitely not shakespeare's sister. I think one woman was blonde and one was a brunette (I thought maybe last night that the song was called something like 'Not another love song' but i may be totally off the mark!)
There was a group called Heart that had two females. Did a song called "All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You". Any help?
Independent Love Song by Scarlett? A blonde & a red head (shows up as dark on video), set on a city street but had orchestral chorus.
Elaine Page and Barbara Dixon, 'I know him so well' from the Tim Rice, Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus musical 'Chess' (black and white!)? (Although it was a hit in the 80s rather than the 90s but it's worth a shot!!)

Independent Love Song! Spot on, thank you. Would never have remembered that on my own!
Question Author
