Ray, just seen you pop up. You are man of taste and class and, in the nicest possible way, kind of remember the 60's.
What is your view on Petula Clark? I have just bought her greatest hits and apart from Downtown, didn't know any of the stuff.
The song "My Love" is absolutely fantastic.
Was she an icon in the 60's?
Was she crumpet?
Should I persist in purchasing some more albums?

You probably would not like all she does, as with most albums, you wonder why they put certain songs on them, might be worth trying youtube to see if any of her songs are on the site. happy listening, joe.

Here's the song I mentioned. Not as good as the studio recording, but beautiful in its simplicity and very romantic lyrics.
Lovely eyes she has.

Very nice Uncle. The old 60's birds are just "naturally" better looking than the current stock. No botox, nose jobs and $2000 make up sessions.
I may now get some Dusty springfield as well. I only have The Preacher Man one on Pulp Fiction sountrack and "I just don't know what to do with myself" on a compo.
Dusty was crumpet to by all accounts.

Hello wardy, Dusty springfield was superb, specially the slow, soulfull songs she did, very dark eye make up, I did a lot of work for her when she lived in Notting Hill gate, I got a very strong feeling that she batted for the womens team if you get my drift. a little taster for you, she was great, but very sad life.
