I wanted to be a vet, hopes dashed by my maths teacher at age 14, she said I'd never get the grades.

Now I'd like to work on big cat diary, or elephant diary, anything working with animals really!
Wouldn't have to appear on TV though, I'd just like to do that sort of work!
Id like to be a ghostbuster lol

A friend runs a paranormal investigation team and I hope to join them on an investigation soon
I'd love to be a midwife, nannon, and I'd still want to do it even if I won the lottery (well, maybe part-time!). :o)

You? x
I can't recall really ever having a career planned. Now I am hoping to become a teachers assistant.......but only at primary level!
want to be a teacher and oursuing that dream now! but would also love to own a shop, possibly selling handmade cards (made by me)

Sophie you're scaring me now!! lol
We want and are currently persuing very similar careers and, I too, make my own greetings cards!! lol
oooh! maybe we could open a shop together lol! what stage of persuing teaching are you at?
I've always wanted to be a writer....It would help if I could chose which language to write in first though...Oh, and not to mention being a bit good at it! lol
Same as Whiskeysheri, i would love to have become a midwife!
sophie.....I actually want to be a TA. I'm hoping to do LSA level 2 in September. How about you?
wanted to be a footballer or accountant when i was young.......am accountant now.

Now I wanna be an Anti-Terrorism Analyst like Harrison Ford in Patriot games
oh right! well I've very nearly finished my DCE (Diploma in Childcare and Education, Level 3) so need to do a degree but not starting until next September, got to apply this coming September!
Hi nannon , I was a midwife and found it to be a lovely job to have.:-) x
I am a nursery nurse and get to look after adorable (mostly) babies all day. I work 2 days a week in a nursery 2 minutes walk from my house. My daughter also attends the nursery and I take her to work with me so yes I think you could say I have the ideal job for me
aww that sounds lovely tigwig! love working with children!
i would like a job where i get to tell people off all day, like an enviromental officer or something. i wonder what kind of training i'd need?
When I left school, I really wanted to train as a hairdresser, but my friend who had left a term before me & had started her apprenticeship, said that the hours were very long & the pay abysmal, so I didn't.

I ended up working in Admin until becoming a fulltime Mum to our two daughters.

When they were 6 & 9 years old & established at school, I went back to work in an office environment, climbing the ladder to Company Secretary, along with all the perks! I stayed at the same firm for 26 years!

Like bigmamma, my ideal job would have been as a Midwife, as I adore babies & love helping people.
