Does anybody know how many artists have recorded this most beautiful song? I can think of 7, including the man himself.

Also james buckley did a good version too which i think is the best/
john hale and gavin degraw
Jeff Buckley
the Shrek version is Rufus Wainwright I think
John Cale (from the Velvet Underground) sang the version of Shrek, but due to contracting laws Rufus Wainwright's version was the one that appeared.

Youcan find Cale's version on one of his solo albums.
Appeared on the soundtrack that was NOT in the film, that was John Cale.
Jeff Buckleys version way better than the Shrek version.
