What does MVP stand for?Its bugging me cos singers like Mary J Blige, 50 Cent and the Game all claim to be one!

I think it stands for Most Valuable Player.

It does indeed stand for Most Valuable Player, which is a term used (mainly) in US sports to describe the player who has contributed most to a team. It is roughly equivalent to 'man of the match' although I think the Americans take it a bit more seriously than the UK. They record who has been awarded MVP the most times and then have a 'season MVP' for the overall winner.
