I have been trying to find this in the Guinness Book of Hit Singles,so I might have got the title wrong. A hit in the late eighties or early nineties,a girl duo or band singing a song called Forever Blue. Is that the right title, and what is the name of the group. Ta Ta Marky B
I thought of Swing Out Sister, but in the GBOHS,it is not mentioned. I am wondering if it did not achieve chart status at all. It was a good song.

What about Erasure's A Little Respect? The first verse is
"I try to discover
A little something to make me sweeter
Oh baby refrain from breaking my heart
I'm so in love with you
I'll be forever blue
That you give me no reason
Why you're making me work so hard
That you give me no
That you give me no
That you give me no
That you give me no - Soul,
I hear you calling
Oh baby please give a little respect to me"
I have finally took the long way round to look up the answer by digging out my old 45's and it is Swing Out Sister with Forever Blue, which did not enter the charts. So I might have a rare vinyl (LOL).
Thanks for your answers.
