Can any kind soul tell me the title of the music (A Piano Piece ) played at the beginning of the Book at Bedtime currently airing on radio 4.

The book in question is "The Testament of Gideon Mack"

Ok went to radio 4 message boards and received the following answer from the producer of the programme.

I produced The Testament of Gideon Mack. The music I used for it is called 'Winter Morning'. It's the first track on an album of Scottish piano music called 'Winter's Journey' by Freeland Barbour. It's published by Macmeanmna Records. You can buy it online. Hope that helps!" Kirsty Williams
