CAZZZ1975:- OMG nick Kershaw, 'i wont let the sun go down on me' Superb!!! How about Howard Jones?? 'Like to get to know you well'??
And OMG does anybody remember a tune that goes
'Please mr telephone man something wrong with my line
when i dial my babies number i get a click everytime'

This tune was on the Hits tape 1 LOL my bro had it and i was addicted to it!! Ive still got it somewhere god knows what year that was!!
OO can I be in the tribute band too???...i'm sad enough to sort of know the dance moves to a couple of the songs (they might be intertwined tho!) I'm a cr*p dancer though & at the age of <mutter> would only pass as a member of Shuffle rather than Steps tho!
Right, that's 3 of us...

Taliesin, That song is Mr Telephone Man by New Edition
Modern Talking!!!

I can't believe I've just admitted that - lol!
I love Garth Brooks, too! ("Beaches of Cheyenne"'s a cracker, so's "Lonesome Dove "- and you know my feelings for "The Dance"). The Carpenters as well, especially "Merry Christmas, Darling" and I'm afraid I'm an Abba fan. I like Dr. Hook, too!!
now see this is an ace thread :-)

Speaking of being 80's children, doesn't Paul Young look grim on Hells Kitchen? I used to fancy him rotten.
Some years ago I had a mild stroke as a result of which I could not drive for nearly 6 months. As my niece was the only person who was not working she would drive me any were I needed, unfortunatly it was during the summer holidays and we usually had her three girls (all under 12) along who would play and sing along to Steps non-step. I dont like to admit but after 3 months I was beginning to like them.
Fun topic!

I'm 19, my mum's 61 and we both love Abba! XD
Hey kleiber - I saw Garth in Croke Park and have the dvds of 5 of his amazing concerts. But the greatest song he's done is Shameless - esp live.
Oh dear, here we go - I've recently been listening to.............................................................................................................................................

Wait for it........................................ GILBERT O'SULLIVAN!!!!

Alone again. naturally. Claire. Matrimony. It's good stuff!!!

No hope for me
oh dear, i am a tattooed, shaven headed football nut and my mates would die if i told them my fave cheesy band, ready? STEPS, claire was fit though, thats my excuse anyway, lol.
For my cheesey moments I like:

Shakin' Stevens
Simply Red
Cliff Richard (Old Stuff)

I normally just shove on my 80s compilation CDs to get my cheesey fix. The 80s were amazing. More cheese than a bag of Wotsits.
Bee Gees, love em...The Dooleys (very cheesey) and Adam and The Ants...... Still play Antmusic from time to time and have a good ole bop...lol

Oh I love Dr Hook...... :)
