Ihave lost my instuction book. How do I delete songs from the iPOD please

You can't delete them directly from the Nano. You have to either delete them from your iTunes library, or more sensibly, untick the songs you don't want, and the next time you sync up your nano, remember to check the box that read 'only sync ticked items' (or something like that).

Also, I'm pretty sure you can download the instruction manuals from the Apple website.
