I'm back from school now - I wasn't ignoring you skyep! I remember those tape thingies, yes, and we also had an 8-track in the living room AND one in the car. My grandparents had 8-tracks of Black & White Minstrels, Jim Reeves and Mrs. Mills in their car, while we had, amongst others, a Carpenters one, a John Denver and, oh dear, a Nana Mouskouri too! My brother's were a bit better - Beach Boys, Doobie Brothers and David Bowie. What a mixed-up bag of musical memories!!
