To answer the Q..Take That are doing some great stuff right now. I love 'Shine' but now when I hear it I think of Denise Van Outen and cold fish.
Thanks 'Morrisons'

Oh sorry, lol, did I not answer the initial question, i'm a bloody donut sometimes!
Yes, like you I didn't like Take That either the first time round, but I'm warming to them now. I gathered that it's either...
a) they really were crap 1st time round (though I loved Pray!)
b)I'm an old duffer now and so are they, they've gone middle of the roadish.
I suspect it's point B.

I loved them first time around. In 1993, we went to a radio 1 roadshow in Newquay. We went through the whole show with just the usual things, and at the end people were just starting to leave when in the distance we saw a helicopter land and people disperse from it. As these figures ran up the field, it became apparent that it was Take That. I didn't believe it at first, but then all of a sudden we were stampeded by hoards of screaming teenagers. We swiftly made our way to the front and managed a few snaps of them as they did 2 songs. I was never able to see them in concert, so this was a once in a lifetime experience for me. When it was all over, they ran back to the chopper and were gone forever. My mate and I had to work that afternoon, and no one would believe us ... until it was on Spotlight (daily regional news) that evening. I almost peed my pants.
