Terry Kath, original Chicago guitarist, died in 1978. Some rumours say he accidentally shot himself in the face while cleaning a gun. Some say that he was sure the gun was empty and held it to his head at a party and pulled the trigger only it wasn't. And some go as far as to say he got drunk and played a game of Russian roulette, which he blatantly lost (apparently he was a vicious drunk). What actually happened?

Thanks for the wiki link, but i've seen that before, and I really don't know whether that is the correct answer. I'm not saying that it is a lie but there are several sources that give different information on this topic. Does anyone know anything that can be trusted better?
