Does anyone know what software was used to design these covers?

I need to create decent looking 3D text and the text on the now albums is the best I've seen

The NOW covers are designed by QD.

Their Graphic Designers probably use Adobe Illustrator and Adobe PhotoShop to create and design the covers.

You could try and contact them by email and ask them what software they use.
If you do find out, post back here to let everyone know how they do it.
