Yes, I know it's still pretty early, but am taking the advantage of actually being able to access the site to post the thread for AQ's 'pearls of wisdom' while I still can.

Last week's debacle is not something I wish to go through again any time soon - it took about 6 hours from go to whoa before I was able to even score the game - Oh dear, I'm starting to rant, aren't I !! ??

Well I've noticed throughout this weekend's game several batches of feathers have been ruffled by various other annoying events - so feel free to get it off your chest while awaiting the posting of scores, which I hate to say will be late in coming - mrseekeerz and I have an appt with out Tax Cnslt at 5.30pm [ my time ] . Stupid time to have made said appt, but silly seekeerz wasn't thinking - ok so what's new !!! however I shall return to my duties as soon as the Govt has pried every last cent it can from me - grrr

I guess you're going to be busy today, as I think I had trouble trying to think up alternatives to the 3 'obvious' answers ... I really should follow Aquagility's advice and go for first thoughts, rather than go out of my way to be original. But I live in hope that one day I shall get a score to make you all green with envy -but not today!.

Well, this weekend saw a bit of a scramble at the beginning with three of the four matches made by the first three entries, then a long lull before the last was finally made, but that's just a brief synopsis - now for the details

Aquagility is back on top form again with two matches, Nettle Rash & Rare Earth for 4 points, right behind him was lysander with Marsh Mallow plus Nettle Rash, also for 4 points, and seekeerz managed to score 2 points for Marsh mallow as well.

Then quite a wait - 10.33 in fact when JMR27 came in with Temple Block and the final bonus points fell.

bridgenut, Magyar & ShazzaHewit scored 3 points each for good guesses, and with 2 points each came
freebi2, Christiana, LaneyB, devadiva, gen2, keyboardix, wickedtongue, teacher1, chriss, pillow & Jools while 18 more added 1 point to their tally.

A quick glance at the Leader Board tells me that

freebi2 is still in the lead having added to last week's score and now has 6 points, but hotly pursued by both lysander & bridgenut both with 5 points.

then comes Aquagility, Magyar & gen2 with 4 points, so even at this early stage, quite a cluster is forming at the head of the queue and it could be anyone's crown at the end of the month.

Congratulations to all the scorers, have a good week and we'll be back bright and early next Saturday to do it all again
