This song was played a lot in rock clubs in the 80's the lyrics were something like 'Can you see the witch, can you see the witch from above' song title and artist would be great, thanks in advance.

It's called 'The Witch' and it's by a band called The Rattles. They were a German band in the 1960's, and were very popular in Europe, being billed as 'The German Beatles' (!) after supporting The Fabs in Hamburg. This genuinely spooky song is their one claim to famer on this side of the channel.

Also, a rock/synthpop outfit called Rosetta Stone brought the song back somewhat in 1992 with a killer synth/guitar cover version. Try it out!
