Paramount M*A*S*H Ad

A while ago, there was an ad on Paramount for M*A*S*H featuring a song, sounding like northern soul-ish. The only lyrics I can remember are "Mercy mercy me..where have all the blue skies gone.." Does anyone recognise this?

I didn't see the advert concerned but there is a Marvin Gaye song called "Mercy Mercy Me" which contains the lines "Mercy Mercy Me...Things ain't what they used to be...Where did all the blue skys go...". It's on his album "What's Going On".
