How to play this chord
E--1111--1111--1111--1111--------------------------------
B--1111--1111--1111--1111--1111--3333-------------------
G--2222--2222--2222--2222--0000----------------------------
D--3333--2222-----------0000--0000--2222--3333----------
A-----------------------------3333--2222----------------------------
E--------------------------------------3333--3333--3333----------
This is part of a guitar tab I'm reliably informed is a good start for newbie players to learn. It's from John Lennon's Imagine. It also happens to be one of my favorite songs.
It's the 6th & 7th chord I h'm having trouble with.... muting A & G whilst playing the E, D and B. How do you do it?
Please....

it makes it easier if you tilt/angle your fingers so they lie closer to the strings making muting easy. it is quite a subtle technique, and i'm sure it is the right way to do it.
hope this helps.
