The problem, as most ex-addicts and counsellors will tell you, is that she is the one who must see for herself, properly, what's happening to her and seek the help she needs. No amount of rehab will help her unless and until she does.

you all love her, even kirstywllc. none of you could resist talking about her.(myself included). it's not our fault it's mainly down to the greedy media.
she is one of these rich celebrities who think squalor and wretchedness is cool because there is little chance they will have to experience it for real for a long time yet and it shows how bohemian they are.
As for the drugs, thats all part of the scene and most media types are literally just as bad, alot are worse. the scandal isnt that they take drugs, its that they got caught.
when you reach a certain level of fame and more importantly, financial security you can get away with it without it ruining your life or career.(see Kate moss. whitney houston, russell brand) crack only f..cks up poor people.
when she finally gets bored and she's sold off one house too many she'll have no choise but to go to 'rehab' sell the story about her "Drugs hell" before releasing her comeback album. I just think its pathetic that she feels being a crack head makes her as tortured and credible as the likes of Billy holiday who she probably desperatly idolises.

Don't you just love the scummy Sun?
All pious about how disgusting it is that a woman with a dozen problems should take crack.
Not as disgusting as broadcasting her private life and making money out of her addiction.
I know that the Sun is aimed at pondlife but they really do win a prize for being lower than their lowlife readership.

Actually kirstywllc Amy is not the equivalent to Pete Docherty - that's looking on the surface - drugs, pallor, paps, scandal.
Underneath, Amy has a huge talent, reflected in her record sales and concert draw, Pete is a sixth-form-poetry-chancer with a rich model girlfriend and disgusting personal hygene - would you let him touch you with those fingernails?
What binds them is their fragility - exagerated in his case - genuine in hers, and their surrounding themselves with unsuitable company.
I hope they both get better as individuals - I would only miss the future recorded output of one.

The only way crack can mess you up is by making you lose your job, your money and your friends, family and your reputation.
when you that rich you can easily support your habbit without even having to work. all your friends do it too or some other drug of choice and see you as hard for doing the ultimate of all the drugs and when you smacked up you could'nt give a sh*t what "ordinary" people think.they could think of nothing worse than living like"ordinary" people.and as for reputation i think Boo hit the nail on the head.
What does LMFAO stand for?

The difference between Winehouse and Doherty is that she actually takes the drugs rather than just posing thinking they make him look cool like Doherty, they both need help in different ways. I hope she gets it as she has talent Doherty needs to dissapear into obscurity as the talentless pond scum that he is

I quite like her singing . she can sing so bl00dy what.
I don't understand the adulation because someone has vocal chords which can resonate in a pleasing manner.
Same with footballers, so you can kick a ball in a straight line, how would you like fifty grand a week.
Sorry to say it but if she wants to kill herself I wish she would get on with it.
Dont get me going on about poor britney. 300,000 a month. I wish I had that problem.

Wow, what a lot of frustration coming out. It does seem that those who are unsatisfied in their own lives are bitter when others achieve something.
...and obviously the Sun, by blowing up the story, is trying to appeal to this sort of envy.
"See. You're not a complete loser, look what's happened to Amy" Says the Scum.
It is a pity that someone with as much talent as Amy ends up a slave to drugs. She came from a working class background and the change of circumstances was aparently more than she could handle. Now that she has a whole posse of hangers-on, any chance of a reality check has gone as she is now surrounded by people who do nothing but tell her how wonderful she is.
I defy anyone to come from a working background and live in that environment without becoming somehow corrupted.
She is one of the best singers/songwriters of this decade and I hope she survives.
