CD's to ipod

Please help, when I try and copy CD into i tunes I only get - track1, track2, etc no track names. the CD's are originals and all the correct boxes are checked. (I think)

You need to be connected to the net, initially. Then, when the CD is in the drive and you play it via any media player it will automatically be matched to a database and the track info will appear.
That is assuming they are legal CD's and not home made compilations.

Thanks Philtaz but I am connected to the net, and they are all genuine CD's. Any other suggestions please!!!

It should get the track names automatically if you have iTunes open when you drag the tracks from the CD.

If you are just getting track 01 etc, you can click and highlight those tracks, and under ADVANCED, go to GET TRACK NAMES.
