This song was written by Jeremy Spencer and recorded by Fleetwood Mac (when Peter Green was a member) but I do not know what was on the 'A' side.
I thought it was 'Dreams of Children' by the Jam, which is I think the B side to 'Going Underground'. But I might be wrong.
It was indeed recorded by Fleetwood Mac and I'm pretty sure was the B-side to Man of The World, the follow up to Albatross, in 1969.
Yes, it was the B-side to Man Of The World, but the song was credited with a phoney band name, which I can't recall but something like Vince Earl and the Valiants. Some people were taken in by it and complained!
Slaughter and the Dogs - a "legendary" Manc punk band in, I think, 1978. Old Peel favourites. Morrissey played with them (briefly, and not on record, I think). Probably released on Rabid Records (later home of Jilted John aka Graham Fellows aka John Shuttleworth).
The revillos or the rezillos also recorded a track with this name.
