art material, anybody know what its actually called?

i know this is the wrong section for this...but im hoping it will get more noticed this way :)

does anybody know the name of this art stuff, when i used it i shaped some wire and then dipped it in the stuff...it was a liquid and there wer different colours. Then it dried hard in the middle of the wire frame, it gave a stained glass effect and you could see through it.

sorry this is a long shot, and this description isnt very good....but it would be great if one of you knew what i was talking about :)
