I really like the Paul Giovanni soundtrack to The Wicker Man - especially Corn Riggs, but try as I might, I can't find any folk artists around now who sing so beautifully as he did. The male voices I've heard are quite whiny and irritating, and the females' are no better. Does anyone have any recommendations? I prefer singers with English/Scottish/Irish/Welsh accents, rather than American, but I like Simon and Garfunkel too, so...
