size of texas comparison

dont know where to post this question! anyone know of a site that would tell me the size of texas in comparison to the uk, ie how many times the uk would fit into texas and other similar facts?

Wikipedia tells me that Texas has an area of 268,820 square miles (696,200 km�), while the UK has a total area of 94,526 sq mi or 244,820 km� .

So, it would seem as if the UK could fit into Texas about 2.8 times.
