Storms!..... Grr!

Hey!

So the weather today has been good for us, til about 4.45 when it rained like I have never seen before for about 5 mins, and now, theres a storm :-(

I hate storms, lightning I can deal with, thunder scares me which I guess is backwards! There are car alarms going off all over the place!

Was quite happily watching Home & Away, and now the satellite to my sky box has gone, and sorting it would mean going outside!! noooooooo!!

Any lovely person fancy coming to mine, to go in the garden and fix it!? Would ask my fella, but there is not a chance in hell you would get him out in the rain!! And he is sulking because I have made him shut all the windows lol!

I left work at 5pm and the heavens opened as soon as I got out the door!!

We had thunder too. It really rained hard!!

my sky always goes a bit dicky when it rains heavily/thunders. i wouldn't recommend going outside in it either, unless you fancy being toasted by lightning!!! you will simply have to wait for it to pass and occupy yourself in an alternative fashion (ahem!)

Hi wiggal , I keep hearing lots of you saying you 've had thunder storms today ......not fair ...stamps feet
I like them and haven't had one for over a year here ! Rain and more rain and lots of rain but no storm :-(

Hey funnygirl!

I walked to the train station in the rain, only to hang around and be told that no trains had run through the station since 2.30 this afternoon due to signal failures!

Called my better half and he drove and picked me up as would of been over an hour on the bus!

stonekicker, it came back on again a minute ago, but I have missed H&A and it has not recorded properly, grr!

I was waiting for Alan to arrive to pick me up, and was hiding under a tree when the first bit of thunder went, got some very funny looks when my face fell and I squeaked and ran!!
