My fiance and I are having a civil ceremony when we get married and we're trying to find a song to exit to after the ceremony but it can't have any religious connotation and we want something fun and up-beat - something that will make people smile and they'll get instantly get why we chose it. We thought 'Signed Sealed Delivered' by Stevie Wonder woud be fun but the rest of the lyrics aren't great.
Well, they're not very hepful ,are they!?
How about, 'I'm a believer' by The Monkees? Very upbeat!
I'll have a think - my daughter is having a civil ceremony too so we're already discussing music. So far, we have 'Should I stay or should I go?' before the ceremony!!
Hope you have a fab day!
We entered to out civil marriage to "November Rain" by Guns 'n' Roses because it has a massive music only intro. It was perfect!
Ps I am not a greebo either!
Our daughter and husband had "third finger, left hand" Martha Reeves and the Vandellas. Cheesey and made us all smile and clap. Its on you tube . Ah........ i'm smiling now. Memories memories
