Not musically minded I may use the wrong terminology but here goes:
Often in film and television when a situation seems hopeless, a shaft of sunlight breaks through the clouds to shine on the answer to the problem.
This is accompanied by a hamonious 'note' either vocally or by organ.
Does this sound have a name?
