I have a clip of a video from 1984 and need to know what the song title and band are called. Video includes images of approx 4 men on a sofa throwing things at TV and things on TV throwing things out to them e.g. water. At one point they are wearing sunglasses and haiwaiian shirts then they are wearing thick winter coats and covered in ice. The chorus lyrics go something like "Out of the pan, into the fire, out of the fire, into the cold etc......" Can anyone help me??

Is it Meatloaf - Out of the Frying Pan ?
Question Author
No, its definitely not Meatloaf but thanks for answering. Any more suggestions anyone? I will try and decipher the lyrics and post them on here.
I've not validated this yet, but something is making me think of the Talking Heads .....

I'm on the case.

Also, can you upload the snippet onto Utube etc and let us all get our teeth into it ?

Unfortunately the video is on VHS and not in digital format. I will try and get more lyrics. I also have a couple of other obscure 80s videos to try and name (also on VHS).
1. Think the song is called "What Kind of World" The singer is blond guy running down an alleyway with white garage doors on either side then one door opens and he gets chased by a dog!
2. Blond guy having argument with his blonde girlfriend. Then video shows him as an escapologist and she is his assistant tying him up too tightly. Lyrics are "If you don't change your mnd, you're only going to put be in that tight spot again".
