LOL ... loads of performers have sung this song - Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Jimmy Durante, even Robbie Williams ! The only female singer I can remember doing it was Judy Garland (and that is going back some !)

Hi echokilo. God that brings back memories. When I was a kid I used to dance - tap, ballet etc. and did a duet with another girl for a competition and concert to 'Me and My Shadow'!

Robbie and Johnnie Wilkes did a great version on the 'Swing when You're Winning' show.

hi a British singer called Rose Murphy I think she may have been of Jamaican origin recorded it in 1950 she also recorded a song called Busy Line which was used by British Telecom in an Advert in the early ninetys
