Hi, we have a laptop about 5 years old the battery is no good and the battery charger that goes into the electric is no good, because the little hole at the back of the laptop seems to have broke ( sorry very hard to explain ) We took it to a computer shop who took it apart, and told us they have fixed it. That was ok for about 3 months ow its gone again, it cost us 70 and they did say they couldnt garantee it would it wont go again, so what do I do scrap it or ahve it done again, it seems such a waste thanks x

so what did you do
70 for 3months use.....u know best whether u can afford that?
I would buy another one Cazz!!

I am having similiar problems with my son's laptop!!

Having recently brought a new charger, it is still playing up.

I have got to do something soon as he is going back to uni and needs it.

All these repair bills soon add up and the way I look at it, the money could go towards a new laptop!!!!
