Song from 1997 (I think!!!)

I remember watching a music video for a song in 1997. The video had people painted to look like african animals (leopards, antelope etc) over the course of the song the paint was washed off. I'm pretty sure that the song didn't have any lyricsas such but instead had a kind of chanting/singing that sounded like - "A-hey um bm bm baa". SOunds kind of odd I know but I know I'm not imagining it! Pretty sure it was on MTV a lot around autumn of 1997. Any help!?
