i think they are rubbish and bruce dickinsons voice is too pretty for this genre.but they are not the worst band in the world as they have done several very good songs over the years - run to the hills being one example. but how can you say they are worse than the boy bands of today ? now they are crap

No. Maiden are a band which has stayed at the top of their game for about 25 years, produce consistantly high quality albums featuring fantastic musicanship and does so in the face of general indifference from the majority of the public. They have also developed their style over their time - not hugely, admittedly, but they have evolved. They have a well established relationship with their fanbase and are trusted to provide the goods without whinging about the dressing room being the wrong colour. Just because you don't like them, it doesn't mean they're rubbish. Why are you so bothered by them? Just ignore it if you don't like it. It's not like they're forever in your face on TV or radio (that's reserved for corporate pop puppets with Cowell's hand up their behinds.)

Not a favourite of mine but my inner Tap finds their brand of operatic metal pretty irresistable sometimes, especially "Run to the Hills". You surely sing along when rat*rsed. I think Keane are far worse than pretty much anyone. Chuffing bedwetters!
