I don't particularly like or dislike her but I think her current single is totally unsuited to her voice. It has the same effect on me as fingernails down a blackboard - I just have to turn to another radio station when it comes on.
her music is not to my taste either but i think her voice is amazing. i fear her re-working of the white stripes 'fell in love with a girl(boy)' may remain her best song and haunt her !!!
she does look like a cat! its all in the eyes!
Two words, Personal Taste. I personally like her music, and there's only one cat related word i envisage when i see her.
yes and she's from Dover not Devon (moved there a few years ago. kent not good enough for you love
I think she is a very good looking lady and her voice (though not my taste) is fantastic for a girl of her age. I quite liked her first album - not sure on the new one though. Her eyes are slightly cat like but I think she is beautiful.
OK - music first. Joss Stone's voice belongs to someone three times her age who'se had a hard life, but ... it's superficial. The voice has the law of diminishing returns - her treatment of the White Stripes was a clever take on a brilliant song, and a novelty. Now, people are trying to pass her off as a genuine 'soul' artist, but further exposure highlights her limitations - she has neither the vocal range, or the emoitional maturity to cover the material she is using, and the novelty will wear off very quickly. Looks-wise she's a fox - pity about the recently added face-furniture.

when your creating pap pop music you don't need "emoitional maturity", just need to be able to sell albums to the commercial radio listening masses
