Absolute guess, but Abba had 9 No1's and I think a couple of other Swedish acts have had as well....just a thought.

How about Australia. I think Kylie Minogue had 6, Jason Donovan had 4, Rolf Harris had 1

While some acts obviously come from a particular country, others can be difficult unless you know them. Don't know of anywhere there is a breakdown by country.
