Button fell off...........

i bought my son a jacket from republic for xmas, bought 6/12, he hadnt worn it till last friday and one of the buttons came off first time he done it up - its one of those metal ones with a metal back so cant be sewn on. Our nearest shop is miles away and havent had chance to take it back and im not around this weekend to do so. i done the 'contact us' thing on their website sunday but havent heard anything yet, also tried phoning local store but no answer. He's worried about the time passing and them not taking it back what would you do? Can anyone give me a number for customer services please?
