downloading music

What is a good site for free downloading of music, been using Kazaa light , but stuff is always ina queue, or unavailable, so hardly ever able to get anything, thanks

I prefer Winmx because Kazaa makes other programmes on my PC play up. You will always have to queue for stuff, but be patient. Sometimes you can find a massive queue, and if you re-search straight away, you get a hit. It's part of the fun.

I used to use Kazaa and it gave my computer loads of viruses that cost lots of money to sort out. I now use Limewire and I havn't had any viruses since getting it 6 months ago, when you start downloading a file if they think it may contain a virus then they tell you and you can kill the download before its too late! It also downloads quicker than Kazaa.

Kazaa has hundreds of virus, and the majority of Kazaa's files are fake/fraudulent.

Soulseek is my site of choice. It's good for full albums. Direct Connect is a good one too. I too used Kazaa but took it out because it made my PC run like crap. However I found you could find the more obscure tracks on Kazaa easier.

winmx ? the guy said he doesnt want to queue.....in my experience winmx is the worst place for queueing.

i use bit torrent no queuing,no false files,no albumwraps.

and it has all that winmx does and more !!!!

try WarezP2P or Shareaza, if you have broadband then Shareaza is very fast, I get over 200kbs at times, never get that with any other program, although it does tend to get me disconnected at times. Also works with torrents. Warez is just like Kazaa but I like it more.

i've been using dc++ for a while for dnb, hip hop, house vinyls and sets and think theres only been one that i haven't found and thats because it was a very limited release. I'm sure if you just want things like pop music - you won't have a problem getting stuff
