Guitar Capo
I'm a bog standard guitarist with a bog standard guitar, but I'd like a good capo (but not too expensive). I've got one of these "universal" nut and slot capos but it doesn't allow the strings to 'ring' and there are so many capos about and they're usually in plastic sealed boxes or similar that shop assistants get a bit iffy if you ask to see the capo out of its covering - oh yeah, I've got a flat fretboard. Ta Muchly.

and it works perfectly for me. If you are getting fret buzz, just make sure the capo is squeezing on to all the strings just behind the fret.

I also use the Shubb..

..and would highly recommend it. You can finely adjust the tension with which the neck is clamped. You don't have to position it just behind the fret to get a perfect sound either.
