I know younger children do hand gestures for twinkle twinkle, but not sure if they are specifically for sign language (I only did Cacdp stage 1). It is quite hard to explain the gestures too, but I just Googled 'twinkle twinkle little star hand gestures and it came up with some videos that you can watch and hopefully that will help.

Good luck

Thank that does help :-) I googled it originally and its hard distinguishing between BSL, ASL and sign with me.
a lot of young children use Makaton instead of BSL, can't find any instructions or videos for twinkle twinkle though I'm afraid
This book, available from W HSmith, may help you & the little ones Betty:
