Pet Shop Boys - Brit Awards
When they were performing, there was a part where the singer (name escapes me) starts speaking some lyrics about half way through the performance.
I was trying to remember where the lyrics came from but as he started singing again, I forgot the words he was speaking.
Bit of a long shot, but does anyone know what I am talking about, and where the spoken lyrics were from?
(the clip may be on youtube, but cant access it in work)
TIA

"I was faced with a choice at a difficult age,
Would I write a book or should I take to the stage,
But, in the back of my head I heard distant feet,
Ch Guevara and Debussy to a disco beat"

Thanks for the suggestions but just saw a repeat of the show and googled the lyrics (I muted the sound straight after so I wouldn't forget again).
It was actually the lyrics to 'Being Boring' although I recognised them as the lyrics to Merril Bainbridge's version, which I now know was a cover of the PSB.
I too was more disappointed than shock at the awards that went to Duffy. Fair play to the girl for winning them, but I think there were more deserved woman who didn't even get nominated, never mind winning.
