I heard a christmas song on the radio last year. It was song by a little girl with a beautiful voice. All I remember about it was that it was about a poor girl named maria and a bird, which I think was nightingale spoke to her. I think the story of the song takes place in Mexico.

the little girl singing is a Canadian and her name is aselin debison. the song is called the gift.
