vinyl designer toys and plush dolls

I was wondering what people could tell me about these "design toys" Qee, vinyl toys and designer figuers. Im interested in finding out more and wondered where i could look. Im after information for a project. Any ideas as to where are good places to buy them and see them... preferably London or UK based online. I know alot come from Japan and Hong Kong - any info on that too would be useful - thanks

My favourite site is ningyoushi.com, has a lot of info, forum as well as a massive shop. If you cant find it there you wont find it anywhere.

Jeremy Vile wrote a book called Vinyl Will Kill and is a good starter for info on the industry.

Also check out play lounge, which is in london, (nr oxford st) and kidrobot, which is a growing US distributor.

Michale Lau, Eric So and Pete Fowler (Hyundai adverts) are all big names worth looking at.
