iPhone to iTunes xfer on new drive

My PC has recently crashed causing me to having reformat my disc. How can download my music (paid from Apple plus my cds), music vids (again paid for and downloaded) etc to my new drive? Have reinstalled itunes, but I want to ensure I do not wipe my iPhone etc. Thank you.

Always keep a backup!

But the iPhone's databases are partially protected, and I don't know of any tools off hand that will allow this kind of recovery.
