Does anyone know if Irish popstrels B*witched have officially split up?

The last that was heard of B*Witched was last summer when a rumour circulated that they were being dropped by their record label. The rumour was denied by both label, and band, but new material has been a suspiciously long time in appearing. Last reports announced that a couple of the band were presenting for MTV, the rest were "writing for the new album", but apart from that, no news. Although no 'official' split has been announced, hopes do seem to be fading that the band will re-appear - still, you never know, look at Blondie!

Hi!

     I just wanted to let you know that B*Witched have officially broken up.  They broke up December of 2001, but were very quiet about it.  Edele, Lindsay, and Sinead are all supposed to be starting solo careers.  No news of Keavy, however maybe her and Edele are going to do a duo.  They were dropped by their record company.

b*witched has broken up, yes. but what happened was that they were working on their third album, and then the record company just decided to not go through with selling the album. that's the music business for you...but, there are rumors of them all starting their own careers. Sinead is managing a girls group (the name escapes me at the moment), and Lindsay is currently working on her album, and going around and seeing different managing deals, and record contracts. her website is www.lindsayarmaou.com (how original. lol) but, yeah...keavy and edele are, as far as i know, not working on an album (at the moment, if they are working on them). you can find out more information on them in the forum at the website above.
