I want to go with one other person so two of us going and i wanted to be central Barcelona close to bars and clubs etc. We are looking to spend as little as possible but have a budget of 300 each for flight and hotels. We are looking to go either Sunday 14th June after 8pm or Monday 15th June 11am or before and looking to return 19th June.
Any help giving would be muchly appreciated.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.You've given us quite a lot of information but you've not stated where you live (or which airports are convenient for you). It's probably not much use for someone here to find a holiday out of, say, Cardiff if you live in Aberdeen!
Please post again (on this thread) telling us where you're starting from. Then we might be able to provide some suggestions for you.

(2-part post):
Just an example (assuming that Stansted is suitable for you);
Fly out of Stansted 0755 on Monday 15/06/09, arriving Girona at 1055. (Or fly out at 1035, arriving at 1335). Total fare (including taxes, charges & card handling fee - but assuming only hand baggage) = 46.26.
Take the connecting bus service into Barcelona. (Journey time = 1 hour 10 minutes. Return fare, valid for 30 days, = 21)
Stay at the (well-reviewed and central) Pensin Canaletas (listed as 'Barcelona City Ramblas' in the link below), in a twin-bedded room for 25.32 per person per night, for 4 nights. Total = 101.28.
Fly back from Girona, on 19 June, at 2200, arriving at 2310. Total fare (on the same basis as above) = 25.71. (There's an earlier flight at 1400, arriving at 1510, for 9 extra).
That makes your total, per person, come to under 200. (You'd also need to travel between the bus station and your hotel but you could take a local bus for a euro or two, or even walk it)

There are loads more possibilities but, without knowing where you're starting from, it's fairly pointless me researching them.

Be careful as we are travelling to BArca and have just been informed that the Spaniards are putting up the airport taxes. This will be added even after you have bought your tickets.... Also watch out for pickpockets and thieves. I have heard that it is rife over there. (Probably much the same as any other large city, but this is what I have heard from three different people and a native from Barcelona.) We are off there shortly before that. Hope you enjoy yourself. another good site is HOSTELS.COM. they do not only have hostels there are also B&Bs and Hotels although at the cheaper end of the market.
